All You Need Is Kitsch & Coconuts
Trying to figure out a great and healthy way to work out the new "wet look" trend, I tried a couple options, and took a ton of how-to pictures. Here are a couple tips to help you get going.
- Avoid any type of spray that has alcohol as an ingredient, it's going to dry out your hair.
- If you aren't sure that it's "the" look for you, definitely avoid purchasing a high cost specialty spray.
- Use coconut oil to create the wet look in your hair. It's nourishing, and you probably already have it in your closet. Only one tablespoon will make your hair look as wet as mine does in the photos. Focus on the roots, because thats where you will want the most moisture. When you wash it out at the end of the day, you've got beautifully moisturized hair! (Just avoid getting your ends oily, you don't want it to stain your clothes!)
- Keep sure that you've got your favorite kitsch headband handy, whatever product you've chosen you don't want sticking to your forehead. It's a heavy hairstyle and you don't want to have excess sticking to hairline.
