Frizzy Hair Natural Remedies from Kitsch

Hello everyone!  Today Kitsch will be covering how to solve one of the trickiest hair dilemmas: frizzy hair!  Frizzy hair can be difficult to maintain for multiple reasons.  First, the cost can really add up if you're constantly trying different shampoos, conditioners, and chemical treatments to rid yourself of frizz.  Chemical treatments are not just expensive, but are damaging to your hair as well.  Kitsch loves natural products and treatments so we have compiled a list of our favorite frizzy hair natural remedies.  Take a look!

Try These Frizzy Hair Natural Remedies:

Mayonnaise- Yup.  This classic condiment works quite well as a natural conditioner that fights against frizzy hair.  From root to the tips for hair, apply the mayonnaise on your hair.  You can use rubber gloves if you don't want it on your hands.   Put a shower cap over your hair and let the mayonnaise set for 20-45 minutes depending on how deep of a condition you want. Rinse thoroughly.  There shouldn't be any odd smell to this condition but use a nice smelling heat protectant before styling or a great smelling hairspray.

Hot Oil Treatment- This is one of the most effective remedies for treating frizzy hair.  Over a flame, heat 2-3 teaspoons of avocado or almond oil.   Work the hot oil through your hair and leave overnight.  Rinse in the morning for amazing, manageable hair.  This treatment can be done once a week.

Banana- Grab a banana and mash it with a teaspoon or two of avocado or almond oil.  After working throughout your hair, let it sit for 20 minutes.  This natural remedy really helps frizzy hair by making it shiny and smooth.

Beer- That's right.  Beer really helps settle hair and takes care of frizzy hair.  Using any kind of beer, pour into a spray bottle and spray your hair.  Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and rinse.  You'll be surprised at what this natural alcoholic spray can do to smooth out your frizzy hair.

Egg and Curd- Some people avoid the wonderful egg white treatment because of the smell, however, if you mix it with curd there is no smell and you have one of the best natural remedies that turns frizzy hair into soft and manageable hair.  Mix 2tbsp with 2-3 egg whites.  Work it throughout your hair d and rinse after 15 minutes.  We know you'll love this one!

A Healthy Diet- If you're looking to have healthy hair, a balanced diet is very helpful.  We all know weight and internal benefits of eating lots of fruits, veggies, and limiting your intake of processed foods but a balanced diet can also help to better your skin and hair.   Try to avoid drinks like alcohol and coffee for a while because they lessen the moisture in our bodies.  When there is little moisture being retained in skin cells, our skin and hair become dry.

Are you searching your cupboard or fridge to try these natural remedies yet?  We hope these help in getting to your best and healthiest hair.  Leave a comment and let us know what natural remedies you love to treat regular or frizzy hair!
